During his training at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding, Thomas gained his first stage experience in „The Black Rider“ at the Metropoltheater (Munich). He then played in the ensembles of „Tanz der Vampire” (Stuttgart) and „Elisabeth“ (Essen). In Cologne and Lübeck he appeared as „Jekyll and Hyde“. Other roles have included Valentin in „Kuss der Spinnenfrau“, Leopold and Siedler in „Im weißen Rössl“, Monostatos in Mozart's „Die Zauberflöte“, Perón and Che in „Evita“ and Valjean in „Les Misérables“. He created the role in the European premiere of „Marie Antoinette“
des Orléans. He has appeared on stage as Mark in „Rent“, Vidal/Oscar in „Sweet Charity“, Erich and Harry in „Comedian Harmonists“, Frederick and Anatoly in „Chess“, Jonathan in „Dracula“, in the title role in „Sweeny Todd“, as Riff in „West Side Story“ and as Prince/Wolf in „Ab in den Wald“. In Switzerland, he appeared in the world premieres of „The Visit of the Old Lady“ and as Dr. Classen in „Heidi - The New Musical“. In Fulda, Thomas was part of the original cast of the spotlight premieres of „Der Medicus - Das Musical“ and „Robin Hood - Das Musical“.
In addition to his stage work, he trained as a vocal coach at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen and completed his vocal pedagogy qualification with a bachelor's degree in music education. Since 2016, he has held a teaching position for singing at the
University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück.
