The Fulda production company spotlight musicals brought her first play to the stage of the Fulda Castle Theater in 2004: „Bonifatius“ was premiered on the 1250th anniversary of the death of the Apostle of the Germans and focused on the founding of the Fulda monastery and thus the laying of the foundation stone for the later baroque city.
What began as a small start-up has developed over the years into a permanent fixture on the German musical scene. In the meantime, spotlight musicals can look back on an impressive list of award-winning in-house productions. Pieces like Die Päpstin, Der Medicus, Die Schatzinsel or Robin Hood have already attracted over 1.5 million viewers and make Fulda a musical stronghold in the heart of Germany.
