Andrea Danae Kingston was born in Australia. She began her dance training at the age of five and has been participating in a full-time dance program since she was twelve.
She gained her first professional stage experience with the Australian Ballet in Graeme Murphy’s „The Nutcracker“ in Melbourne. To continue her training, she moved to Europe at the age of 16 and studied at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School.

Her stage career includes engagements in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Italy. These include productions such as Barrie Kosky’s „Kiss Me, Kate“ and „Orpheus,“ as well as the Royal Opera House production of „Faust.“ Andrea worked as dance captain and choreographic assistant to Melissa King on various projects, including „West Side Story“ at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and „Chicago“ in St. Gallen (Switzerland).

In 2009, Andrea made her debut as a choreographer and has since contributed to over 45 productions, ranging from musicals to operettas, spoken-word theater, film, and television. She has worked with directors such as Gil Mehmert, Stefan Huber, Felix Seiler, Cusch Jung, and Titus Hoffmann, and has also co-directed several operas.

Andrea lives in Berlin with her family. She is a visiting lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and a faculty member at the Berlin Opera Academy. In 2021, she received the DIS-TANZ-SOLO Fellowship for artists. As a performer, she appears in interdisciplinary events and festivals as part of collaborations with musicians and artists.
