Born in Australia, she moved to Europe for her dance career. She studied at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and then had a ten-year stage career, during which she appeared in Barrie Kosky's Kiss Me, Kate and Orpheus at the Komische Oper Berlin, was dance captain and choreographic assistant to Melissa King in numerous productions and performed in the Royal Opera House's European tour of Gounod's Faust.

Andrea's interest in working with various cooperation partners has led to her working as a choreographer on more than forty productions in theaters throughout Germany.

Her versatility as an artist allows her to work not only in musical theater (including Chicago, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd), but also for opera (including Rusalka, Aida, Street Scene), operetta (Märchen im Grand Hotel, Frau Luna, Pariser Leben) as well as for spoken theater, film, documentaries and television.

Andrea lives with her family in Berlin and was a lecturer in choreography and movement at the Berlin Opera Academy. She is also a regular guest lecturer for dance (musical) at the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin.
