Creative teamClaudio Pohle

Claudio Pohle studied costume design at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences under Reinhard von der Thannen. After graduating, he worked on productions for the Ruhrtriennale, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, and the Luzerner Theater, among others.

From 2017 to 2023, he worked as a costume assistant at the St. Gallen Concert and Theater. During this time, in addition to his work as an assistant, he designed his own costumes for various opera and musical productions, including the world premiere of the musical „Wüstenblume.“ In 2022, he was awarded the German Musical Theater Prize for Best Costume Design for his work on the world premiere of the musical „Goethe!“ at the Bad Hersfeld Festival. This was followed by further engagements, including at the Prinzregenten Theater in Munich, the Theater Ingolstadt, the Staatstheater Darmstadt, the Tiroler Landestheater, the Theater an der Wien, and the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. Most recently, he designed the costumes for the Austrian premiere of „WICKED—The Musical“ at the Bühne Baden.

In addition, the production „Letters from Ruth,“ for which he served as set designer, received the 2026 Austrian Music Theater Award in the category „Best Overall Musical Production“ at the Theater an der Wien.
