Current spotlight musicals with the participation of Claudio Pohle

Claudio Pohle studied costume design at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg under Reinhard von der Thannen. During his studies, he already designed costumes for numerous productions at the Theaterakademie Hamburg, including at the Thalia Theater, Kampnagel and the St. Pauli Theater. After graduating, he went on to work on productions for the Ruhrtriennale, Theater Göttingen, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Theater Bremen, Staatstheater Oldenburg and the Lucerne Theater.

From 2017 to 2023, Claudio Pohle was employed as a costume assistant at Konzert und Theater St. Gallen. Here he designed costumes for the musical world premiere of „Wüstenblume“, „Die Zauberflöte“ and „Die Fledermaus“, among others. His work for the world premiere of the musical „Goethe!“ at the Bad Hersfeld Festival was awarded the German Musical Theater Prize for Best Costume and Make-up Design in 2022. He has been working as a freelance costume designer since the 2023/24 season, including stints at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken, the Prinzregententheater, the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Seefestspiele Mörbisch, where he designed the costumes for „My Fair Lady“ in 2024.
