Dennis Martin has been making a name for himself as a professional musician and singer in the studio and on stage since 1994. He has been equally successful as a composer, lyricist, arranger and producer on more than 100 recordings - many of which have been in the Media Control charts for several months.

In the studio and live on stage, Dennis Martin has worked with many well-known artists, including La Toya Jackson, Meat Loaf, Richie Blackmore and Nena. He has sung at the Nokia Night of the Proms several times. Since 2000, he has been working as a freelance music producer with his own recording studio.

He realized his first complete musical composition in 2004 with the musical „Bonifatius“. Since then, Martin's artistic work has focused on the musical genre. „Elisabeth –Die Legende einer Heiligen“ was Martin's second musical, for which he wrote the music, book and lyrics. He is also managing partner of spotlight musicals GmbH together with Peter Scholz. In 2011, Martin celebrated his greatest success to date as a composer and lyricist with the musical adaptation of the world bestseller „Die Päpstin“. „Die Päpstin“ has so far been performed in Fulda, Hameln, Ingolstadt, Stuttgart, Füssen and Munich as well as in Brno (Czech Republic) and Budapest. With „Friedrich - Mythos und Tragödie“, Martin realized his fourth musical in Potsdam in 2012, which was revived in Fulda in 2014. His musical „Kolpings Traum“ premiered in Wuppertal in 2013 and was performed at the Lanxessarena in Cologne in 2015. He followed this up with the musical „Die Schatzinsel“ in 2015. In 2016, his work „Der Medicus“ had its world premiere. Most recently, Martin worked together with global star Chris de Burgh on his new musical project „Robin Hood“, which celebrated its world premiere in Fulda in 2022.
