Fabian Kampa, born and raised in Fulda, is an experienced musician, music producer and sound engineer. His musical talent was already evident in his childhood. He has been performing on stage as a professional musician since the age of 14. He is currently studying music part-time in Frankfurt.
In addition to his stage career, he has been working as a studio musician and producer for several years. He has created mixes and arrangements for the bands Münkel and Cuba Libre. He also played the guitar parts on Thomas Hohler's album „So weit, so gut“. He currently accompanies DJ Ötzi on stage as a guitarist.
Fabian Kampa has been working for spotlight musicals GmbH as a sound engineer and music producer for over seven years. He is now head of the sound department. He was also the lead sound engineer for the recordings of the cast CD of „Robin Hood“ and „Die Päpstin“ and was responsible for numerous mixes. He worked with sound designer Tom Strebel on the sound design for the world premiere of „Robin Hood“ at the Schlosstheater Fulda.
For the musical open air „Bonifatius“ and the spotlight musicals anniversary gala 2024, he was responsible for both the sound design and the sound equipment alongside Tom Strebel. For the musical „Die Päpstin“, he took on these tasks together with Maximilian Becker. Together, they were awarded the German Musical Theater Prize for Best Sound Design in 2024.
