Current spotlight musicals with Anke Fiedler

After studying at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Anke Fiedler played Amneris in the German premiere of the Elton John musical „Aida“ at the Colosseum Essen and Yitzhak in the rock musical „Hedwig and the Angry Inch“ in Vienna in 2006.

She was a soloist in „Qi“ at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin and played Titania in Shakespeare’s „A Midsummer Night’s Dream“ for five years. Her role as Maureen in „Rent“ was one of her standout performances at the Ettlingen Castle Festival. Anke played many major roles at the Renaissancetheater Berlin, such as Lady Chiltern in „An Ideal Husband“ and June Carter in „Hello, I’m Johnny Cash.“ She also played the role of Magenta in „The Rocky Horror Show“ at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken for a long time. She played Lioba in „Bonifatius,“ Nathalie in „Liebeslügen,“ and Brunhild in „Der Ring.“ She appeared, among other roles, as Marioza and as the Pope in the musical „Die Päpstin“ in Fulda, Füssen, Munich, and Hamelin; as Josiane Darnley in „The Man Who Laughs“ at the Dresden State Operetta; and in the title role of „The Kiss of the Spider Woman“ at the Leipzig Opera. Anke thrilled her audiences for two years in „Mein Grand Prix“ at the Tipi am Kanzleramt and as Frida in the ABBA show at the Estrel in Berlin. In the world premiere of „The Magic Flute – The Musical,“ she played the Queen of the Night. Last year, she appeared in Füssen and at the Fulda Musical Summer in „Die Päpstin,“ as well as in „Chicago“ at the Landestheater Neustrelitz.

Most recently, she also released the singles „I Can’t Stop Lovin‘ You,“ „Rise or Fall,“ and „Coming Home“ under her stage name ANN KEE.
