Spotlight starVolker Metzger

Volker Metzger completed his training at the Mainz Drama School. He has appeared on various stages including the Schlossfestspiele Heidelberg, Staatstheater Mainz, Stadttheater Pforzheim and Theater Bamberg in Peter Shaffer's „Amadeus“ in the title role, as Adam in „Spiel's nochmal, Sam“, as Aramis in „Die drei Musketiere“, as Nick in „Wer hat Angst vor Virginia Woolf“ and as „Julius Cäsar“.

Volker has appeared several times in front of the camera for „Tatort“ and „Ein Fall für zwei“ as well as numerous other TV formats.
In „Comedian Harmonists“, in the role of Roman Cycowski, as Sancho in „The Man of La Mancha“, as Harry in „Mamma Mia!“ and as Mister Zellophan/Amos Hart in „Chicago“ and others, he has also appeared repeatedly in musical theater. Most recently, he played Sir Danvers Carew in „Jekyll & Hyde“, Wilbur Turnblad in „Hairspray“ and Lämmermeier in „Frau Luna“ at the Staatstheater Darmstadt.

Volker Metzger also works as a speaker, presenter, cabaret artist and business coach.
