On 12.06.2026, the large-scale event will take place on Fulda Cathedral Square. „Best of spotlight“ gala for the opening of the Hessentag will take place. There will also be a preview of the gala on 11.06.2026.
As with the anniversary gala in 2024, a concert choir specially put together for the gala will perform on both evenings, bringing together former members and new singers.
We are now looking for experienced choir singers from Fulda and the surrounding area who would like to become part of the project choir.
Choir rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Thursdays in Fulda from 13.04.26. The final rehearsals with cast and orchestra will take place from 08.06.26.
Requirements for participation in the project choir:
- Minimum age 18 years
- Good availability during the rehearsal period
- Singing experience, choir experience desired

- Videocasting
- All selected applicants will then be provided with material for two song excerpts. This must be learned and then a video recorded.
- Presence casting
- If required, a further casting round will take place in the form of a face-to-face casting in Fulda.
