Creative teamAdam Nee

Adam is an internationally active set and costume designer for theater, ballet, musical and opera productions. He trained at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Wimbledon College of Arts.

Most recently, Adam has designed musicals throughout Europe; His work includes „Priscilla - Queen of the Desert“ at the Salzburg Landestheater, „Ghost Das Musical“, „Fack Ju Göhte“, „Flashdance“, „Murder on the Orient Express“ and „The Da Vinci Code“ (ShowSlot) as well as „Priscilla - Queen of the Desert“, „School of Rock“, „Wonderland“, „Something Rotten“, „Shrek“ and „Come from Away“ (Landestheater Linz), „Frankenstein“, „Jesus Christ Superstar“ and „The Three Musketeers“ for the Luisenburg Festival/Fürth. Previously, Adam worked in ballet with Derek Deane, the artistic director of the Shanghai Ballet, and created two of his productions in Shanghai: „Sleeping Beauty“ and „La Dame aux Camélias“, which were also performed in Brisbane, Australia, in 2023.

Adam is currently working on several new musicals: „Wir Sind am Leben“, which premiered at the Theater des Westens in Berlin in March 2026; „Something Rotten“ in Bad Hersfeld in June 2026; a new opera, „Perfect Match“, in Graz in December 2026; and „Rapunzel“ by ShowSlot in March 2027.
