Christoph Drewitz is an award-winning stage director, author and cultural manager with over 20 years of international experience in theater and live entertainment. His artistic focus is on the development and staging of new musical material and innovative show concepts.

He has been responsible for numerous musical premieres and has played a key role in shaping the German-speaking musical landscape in recent years with productions such as the successful Berlin musicals „Ku'damm 56“ and „Ku'damm 59“, „Fack Ju Göhte“, „Frankenstein“ and the world premiere of the Goethe musical „Lotte“ in Wetzlar. His other works include „Romeo & Juliet - Love is Everything“ and the stage version of Dan Brown's „The Da Vinci Code“.
He recently directed the world premiere of the choral musical „Judith - The Miracle of Creation“ in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle and is permanently working as Associate Director for the musical „Moulin Rouge“ in Cologne.

As founder and director of the pop-up festival „Rosengärtchen live“, he initiated a meeting place for artists and audiences in his home town of Wetzlar during the pandemic.
