Creative teamMartin Ruppel
Born in Hesse (Homberg Efze), he began his career as a performer by working as a dance captain, singer and dancer for AIDA Cruises (2010-2015).
Further engagements followed as dance captain in „Flashdance“ (Bad Vilbel) and „Oliver!“ (Lübeck), Swing in „La Cage Aux Folles“ (Staatstheater Mainz) and in the ensemble of „Ich war noch niemals in New York“ (Thunerseespiele) and, „Singin’ in the Rain“ (Bad Vilbel).
He also appeared as Action in several „West Side Story“ productions.
In Fulda, he appeared on stage in „Der Medicus“, „Die Schatzinsel“, „Die Päpstin“, „Robin Hood“ and most recently in „Bonifatius“.
At the same time as his work as a performer, he began teaching dance at state drama and musical schools and has regularly choreographed for the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel since 2016 - including „The Little Shop of Horrors“, „Jim Knopf“, „Emil and the Detectives“, last year's “Peter Pan“ and this year's „Alice in Wonderland“. He has also supported the acrobats of „Funtastix“ (Welkers, Fulda region) several times with their show choreographies.
Since 2023, he has been part of the 3-person play „Wellen, Sturm und Steife Brisen“ - 2024 at the Bar jeder Vernunft in Berlin, 2025 at the Kammertheater Karlsruhe and continuously at the Theaterschiff in Hamburg. Until last year, he also played Ernst Ludwig in „Cabaret“ at the Landesbühnen Sachsen and in Hamburg at Schmidt's Tivoli in the ensemble of „Der Achtsame Tiger“ and „Die Operette für zwei schwule Tenöre“ at Schmidtchen.
This year, Martin is responsible for the choreography of the „Best of spotlight“ gala.
