Michael Balgavy is Creative Director for theater, concerts and graphic design. His concert productions include the film music TV gala „Hollywood in Vienna“, international concert tours such as „The World of Hans Zimmer“, „Hans Zimmer Live“, „Starmus“ with Brian May, „Two Steps From Hell“, as well as opera productions such as „Werther“ and „Die Zauberflöte“ and various musicals. For Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Balgavy created the video design for the anniversary galas „50 Jahre Musical“, „Raimundtheater Wiedereröffnungsgala“, „Evita“, as well as for the international tour version of „Elisabeth“ and „Rebecca“. Other musical productions include „Jersey Boys“ and „We Will Rock You“. As a graphic designer, he created the visual brand design for „Rock Me Amadeus“, „Maria Theresia“ and „Rudolf - The Last Kiss“ (2025).
As a designer, Balgavy works with numerous publishers (including VFMK, Elster & Salis Vienna) and has designed publications for Jonas Kaufmann, Dagmar Koller, „Voices“ with 70 opera stars, novels and the 100-year exhibition of the Walt Disney Archives. His non-profit projects include work for the United Nations Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBT), the „Life Ball“, the center for persecuted music „Exilarte“ and the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
