The renowned director and choreographer received his training at the Swiss Chamber Ballet in Zurich. His award-winning works - including „Das Wunder von Bern“, „Around the World in 80 Days“, „Catch Me If You Can“, „Rebecca“ and „The Visit of the Old Lady“ - have taken him to renowned theaters such as the Salzburg State Theater, Theater St. Gallen, Theater in der Josefstadt, Hanover State Opera, Graz Opera, Stage Entertainment, the Salzburg Festival, the Bayreuth Festival and Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
He has worked as a director and choreographer at the Staatstheater Schwerin, the Musiktheater Linz and the Theater Regensburg, among others. His numerous productions include „Die lustigen Nibelungen“ (Landesbühnen Sachsen), „Der König und Ich“ and „My Fair Lady“ (Seefestspiele Mörbisch), „Pippin“ (Staatsoperette Dresden), the German-language premiere of „Parade“ and „Die Reise zum Mond“ at Theater Regensburg, which won the BR-Klassik „Operettenfrosch“ award. For his production of „Dällebach Kari“ at the Thunerseespiele, he received the German Musical Theater Award in 2023.
„Singin’ in the Rain“ celebrated its premiere at the Salzburg Landestheater. At the Musiktheater Linz, he directed „Forever Young“, „Lieder für eine neue Welt“, „Titanic“, the world premiere of „Die Königinnen“ (which won „Best Musical“ at the German Musical Theater Awards) and most recently „Sweeney Todd“.
