After graduating from the Hamburg School of Entertainment, the native of South Baden appeared, among other roles, as Hodel in „Anatevka,“ Minnie Fay in „Hello, Dolly!,“ Kate McGowan in „Titanic,“ Pamela in „Die Königs vom Kiez,“ Jana in „Jana und Janis,“ and Sister Maria Amnesia in „Non(n)sens“ on stages throughout the German-speaking world.
Johanna has also appeared time and again in a wide variety of roles at the Brothers Grimm Festival in Hanau—most recently in 2026 as Queen Sirenna in „Snow White.“ In 2022, she was even nominated for the German Musical Theater Award for „Best Supporting Actress“ for her role as the wicked stepsister Melanie in „Little Brother and Little Sister.“.
As Sally Bowles in „Cabaret“ In 2024, as a Showman Singer on the „This is the Greatest Show“ tour in 2025, with her directorial debut „Vanya“ at the Kulisse Eimke in 2026, and her role in „Die Päpstin,“ Johanna’s big stage dreams came true.
