Kaatje Dierks trained and studied at the Lola Rogge School and the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg. She also studied acting at the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg and singing in Hamburg and Vienna. Her first engagements took her to „Cats“ at the Operettenhaus Hamburg, „Freudiana“ at the Theater an der Wien and the German premieres of „Buddy Holly“ and „Les Misérables“. This was followed by numerous roles throughout Germany, including Sandy in „Grease“, Sheila in „Hair“, Gertrud in „Fifty Fifty“ and Janet in „The Rocky Horror Show“. She played the title roles in „Sweet Charity“ and „Piaf“ as well as Eva Péron in „Evita“. For Stage Entertainment, she appeared on stage in the European premiere of „42nd Street“ (Dorothy Brock, Maggie Jones) as well as in „Elisabeth“ (Mrs. Wolf, Archduchess Sophie), „Mamma Mia!“ (Rosie), „Love Never Dies“ (Mme. Giry and others), „Kinky Boots“ (Trish) and „Mary Poppins“ (Bird Woman, Miss Andrew). Her repertoire includes Killer Queen (“We Will Rock You”), Vi Moore (“Footloose”), Margaret White (“Carrie”) and Solange LaFitte (“Follies”). As artistic director at the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, she oversaw the productions of „I've Never Been to New York“, „Sister Act“ and Disney's ‘Tarzan„. Most recently, she appeared in “Mary Poppins„ (Mrs. Corry) at the Thunerseespiele, at the DSE of “Billy Elliot - The Musical„ (altern. Grandma) at the Maag-Halle Zurich and in “Die Weihnachtsbäckerei„ at the Stage Palladium Theater Stuttgart.
