Spotlight starSophie Bauer

The Viennese Sophie Bauer was born and raised in Paris. In addition to intensive further training in New York, she completed her studies in Vienna and has been working as an actress, musical performer and dubbing artist ever since.

From 2005 to 2022, she was a member of the ensemble at the Volksoper Vienna and also appeared as a soloist in various musical and operetta productions. These include „Pinocchio“, „Vivaldi“, „A Night in Venice“, „Roxy and Her Wonder Team“ and „The Land of Smiles“.

She was also part of „The Count of Monte Cristo“ and „Sister Act“ at the Felsenbühne Staatz, played Dorothy Gale in „The Wizard of Oz“ at the Kiel Opera and was on tour with „Ghost - Message from Sam“ as Molly Jensen and in the ensemble. Most recently, Sophie toured Germany and China with „Elisabeth - The Musical“.
