At just 11 years old, Thomas Hohler was already performing in „Les Misérables.“.
Even before graduating from high school, he won the national title at „Jugend musiziert“ and received an encouragement award at the „Bundeswettbewerb Gesang“ in Berlin, and then began his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts.

His first major role was the title role of d’Artagnan in „The Three Musketeers“ in Stuttgart. This was followed by roles in „Hair,“ „Jesus Christ Superstar,“ Hape Kerkeling’s „Kein Pardon,“ Michael Bully Herbig’s „Schuh des Manitu,“ „Shrek,“ „Flashdance,“ „The Last 5 Years,“ „Spamalot,“ and „Rebecca.“.
In „Elisabeth,“ he appeared as Crown Prince Rudolf and as Luigi Lucheni on tour in Germany and Shanghai. He was the first Belgian actor to play Rudolf in Antwerp. He played Emanuel Schikaneder and Wolfgang Mozart in „Mozart!“ in Duisburg and Shanghai. He also appeared on stage as the musician Tobi in „Wahnsinn! – Das Musical“ (Wolfgang Petry), as Dimitri in „Anastasia,“ and as Sam Wheat in „GHOST – A Message from Sam.“ He played Wilhelm Jerusalem in the world premiere of the musical „Goethe!“ and the antagonist Guy von Gisbourne in „Robin Hood,“ Robin Blake in Kunze & Levay’s „Lady Bess“ at the Theater St. Gallen, and Anastasius in „Die Päpstin.“.
He has appeared as Mark Cohen in „Rent,“ Marius in „Les Misérables,“ and Rob Cole in „Der Medicus“ (Macías/Amador), as well as Matteo in the world premiere of „HELLO! AGAIN?“ (Howard Carpendale), written by Thomas Herrmanns. Most recently, Thomas took on the title role in the German premiere of „Mrs. Doubtfire.“.
