Current spotlight musicals with Thomas Hohler

Thomas played the lead child role of Gavroche in „Les Misérables“ at the age of 11. Even before graduating from high school, he won the national „Jugend musiziert“ competition and the „Bundeswettbewerb Gesang“ in Berlin and began studying at the UdK in Berlin.

His first major engagement was the role of d'Artagnan in „3 Musketeers“ at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart. This was followed by roles in “Hair”, “Into the Woods”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, Hape Kerkeling's „Kein Pardon“ and Michael Bully Herbig's „Schuh des Manitu“, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Shrek”, “Flashdance”, “The Last 5 Years”, “Spamalot” and “Rebecca”, among others.

He sang Till on the concept album of „Wenn Rosenblätter fallen“. In „Elisabeth“, Thomas was seen as Crown Prince Rudolf and as the cover Luigi Lucheni on tour in Germany and in Shanghai. He was the first Belgian Rudolf in Antwerp. He played Emanuel Schikaneder as well as cover Wolfgang Mozart in „MOZART! - The Musical“ in Duisburg and Shanghai. He played the role of Dimitri in the musical „Anastasia“ in Stuttgart and the title role of Sam Wheat in the musical „GHOST - Message from Sam“. He was Wilhelm Jerusalem in the world premiere of „Goethe!“ and Robin Hood's adversary Guy von Gisbourne in the musical of the same name, as well as Robin Blake in Kunze&Levay's „Lady Bess“ at the Theater St. Gallen. Most recently, he appeared as Mark Cohen in „Rent“, Marius in „Les Misérables“, Matteo in the world premiere of Thomas Herrmanns‘ „Hello!Again?“ (Howard Carpendale) and Anastasius in „Die Päpstin“.
