Spotlight starTobias Bieri

Tobias Bieri studied musical theater at the University of the Arts in Berlin, graduating in 2010 with double honors.

Since then, he has appeared on numerous stages in Germany and Switzerland. His roles include Galileo in „We Will Rock You“, Moritz Stiefel in „Frühlings Erwachen“, Schlomo Metzenbaum in „Fame“ and Crown Prince Friedrich in the world premiere of „Friedrich - Mythos und Tragödie“. He also took on other important roles as Jesus in „Jesus Christ Superstar“, Matthew in „Altar Boyz“, George in „Sunday in the Park with George“ and Jamie in „The Last Five Years“. He also wowed audiences as D'Artagnan in „3 Musketeers - The Musical“ and Alfred in „Dance of the Vampires“. This was followed by engagements as Harold Bride in “Titanic - The Musical”, Adam/Felicia in “Priscilla - Queen of the Desert”, Frank Abagnale Jr. in “Catch me if you can” and Christian (First Cast, Walk-In) as well as Cover Duke in “Moulin Rouge - The Musical”. Most recently, Tobias also appeared on stage in the leading role of Karl-Oskar in the concert version of the musical „KRISTINA“.

In addition to his theater engagements, he has appeared in front of the camera for TV productions such as „SOKO Wismar“ and „Alles was zählt“.
