August 6, 2025 „Robin Hood“ at the Fulda 2025 musical summer

The musical „Robin Hood“ premiered in Fulda in 2022. In its first year, the new play thrilled around 140,000 visitors in over 200 sold-out performances.

On August 1, 2025, the musical celebrated its premiere again at Musicalsommer Fulda after last year's European tour.

In addition to many partners and friends of the musical, representatives from politics and culture were also welcomed. During the champagne reception, Bundestag President Julia Klöckner, the Kessler twins and Carolin Reiber signed the golden book of the city of Fulda together with Mayor Dag Wehner.

Chris de Burgh also took the opportunity to attend the last premiere of the musical, in which he was involved as a composer, and was greeted with a standing ovation from the audience before the show.

THE Cast

The production by Matthias Davids, who recently directed the Bayreuth Festival, combines action, suspense and romance in a rousing stage adventure. The audience can also expect to see some of Germany's best-known musical performers. Philipp Büttner, Dennis Henschel and Sascha Kurth can be seen in the title role. At their side, Johanna Zett and Tamara Pascual will fight for freedom for Nottingham as Lady Marian. Thomas Hohler will once again take on the role of the antagonist. As in the world premiere, Christian Schöne plays the unscrupulous King John, Thomas Christ the role of Marian's father (Sheriff de Lacy) and André Haedicke the fun-loving brother Tuck. Robert Johansson takes on the role of Will Scarlett for the first time, while Kira Primke and Thorsten Tinney once again play the Abbess and Earl William/John Little.
