Kim Duddy studied classical ballet in New York and worked as a performer on Broadway, where she worked with Bob Fosse, Michael Bennet and Tommy Tune, among others, before an engagement in „Cats“ brought her to Vienna. Since then she has worked as a choreographer and director for theater, film and shows throughout Europe.

She has choreographed works such as „West Side Story“, „Kiss me, Kate“, „Sound of Music“, „Guys and Dolls“, „La Cage“, „Joseph“, „Fame“, „Grease“, „Jekyll & Hyde“, „Shrek“, „Spamalot“ and „Sister Act“.
Her signature works include „Titanic“, „Falco meets Amadeus“, „Ich war noch niemals in New York“, „Hinterm Horizont“, „Der Medicus“ and „I am from Austria“.

In the field of classical ballet, she created „Carmina Burana“ as well as her work as director of the ballet of the Vienna Volksoper. Her operetta and opera repertoire includes „Im Weißen Rössl“, „Die Fledermaus“, „Wiener Blut“, „Der Zigeunerbaron“, „Manon“, „Pique Dame“, „Lucia di Lammermoor“ and „Die Aufteilung der Welt“.

She has designed countless galas and events, including the VBW anniversary gala and the Lifeball in Vienna, created the revue „Casanova“ for the Friedrichstadtpalast, choreographed TV shows and the cinema remake of „Im Weissen Rössl“.

Her directorial work includes „Sweet Charity“, „Tommy“, „Footloose“, „Jesus Christ Superstar“, „Aida“, „The Rocky Horror Show“, „Barbarella“, „Hair“, „The Wiz“, „Annie“ and „Cats“. She is the author of the musicals „Rockville“ and „Carmen Cubana“, which she also directed.
She received the recognition award in the performing arts category for her artistic work at the Amstetten Musical Summer and the „Best Choreography“ award for the world premiere of „Goethe!“.

Her most recent productions include „Natascha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812“, „Anastasia“ and „Something Rotten“ (Landestheater Linz), „The Bodyguard“ (Beatrix Theater Utrecht) and „The Merry Widow“ (Zurich Opera House).
