September 17, 2026 Nominated nine times—„Der Schimmelreiter“ is taking the musical theater world by storm

Widespread Recognition from the Panel of Experts

High praise for the Fulda musical production „Der Schimmelreiter – A Mystery Musical“: The production is divided into a total of nine categories for the German Musical Theater Award Nominated. With this nomination, the expert jury recognizes the production's excellence in nearly all key artistic aspects of the genre.

The nominations cover both the overall production and outstanding individual achievements in the areas of composition, script, musical direction, direction, choreography, set and video design, costumes and makeup, and puppetry.

Behind each of these nominations lies not only an artistic achievement, but above all one thing: A great team. People who, together, have told a story, created images, composed music, brought characters to life, and, night after night, transported the audience into the world of Hauke Haien and *The Rider on the White Horse*.

The fact that this work is now receiving such recognition on one of the most important stages in the German musical theater industry fills us with great joy and gratitude.

„Following the very positive feedback from the press and the audience, we are deeply honored by the many nominations from the expert jury. This further enhances Fulda’s reputation as a premier destination for high-quality musicals in Germany. Demand for the revival in Fulda next year will certainly benefit from this.“

As for the other nominated categories, the situation is now as follows: We’re looking forward to November 16 and to a special evening for „Der Schimmelreiter,“ our entire team, and the musical theater scene in Fulda.
